About This Project
This ornate Victorian cast iron fireplace in a period terraced property in Northampton town centre had been painted over multiple times across its lifetime. Our sandblasting team stripped back every layer of paint, primer and surface rust to reveal the original detailed ironwork in excellent condition. The surround, grate, hood and side pillars were all treated individually before the customer applied a satin black heat-resistant finish. A classic Northampton restoration job.
