About This Project
This Victorian terrace in Abington, Northampton, had accumulated decades of pollution grime, old paint splashes and biological staining across its front elevation. The owner wanted to restore the warm red brick to its original appearance before repointing. Our team used a combination of wet sandblasting and low-pressure cleaning to remove all surface contamination without damaging the soft Victorian brick. The finished elevation looks as it would have done when first built.
