Listed Building Stonework Cleaning — Northampton Town Centre
About This Project
A Grade II listed commercial building in Northampton town centre required its sandstone facade to be cleaned as part of a wider refurbishment. The stonework had significant pollution blackening, biological staining and remnants of old paint from a previous signage installation. Working under a conservation officer-approved specification, our team used a TORC system (fine swirling wet abrasive) to gently clean the stonework without damaging the historic surface. All work was documented for the planning authority.
