About This Project
A new commercial development in Northampton required its structural steel frame to be prepared and coated with an intumescent fire protection system to achieve a 90-minute fire rating. Our team shot blasted all structural members to SA 2.5 standard, applied a zinc-rich primer, then applied the specified intumescent coating to the required dry film thickness. All work was carried out to the project specification and documented for the building control sign-off.
