About This Project
A traditional oak porch in the village of Flore, Northamptonshire, had weathered badly and previous owners had applied a dark stain that was now peeling. The current owners wanted to restore the natural oak appearance. Using our low-pressure microstrip process, we removed all old stain and weathered surface timber from the posts, brace, arch and fascia boards without damaging the structural oak beneath. The porch was then treated with a UV-resistant natural oil.
