About This Project
A Northampton engineering company required a batch of newly fabricated steel structural sections to be shot blasted to SA 2.5 standard before zinc primer application. The fabrications included box sections, angle iron and flat plate. Our shot blasting facility processed the entire batch in a single day, removing all mill scale, weld spatter and surface contamination to achieve the specified surface profile. The customer collected the primed sections the following morning.
